CALEB'S TESTIMONY
I was saved at a young age. I do not remember when or where, but I do remember the why. It was under my dad’s preaching where I realized my need for salvation. He was preaching out of Luke 16:19-30 and as he was describing hell, I realized that I was headed there. That fact scared me. I went forward and received Christ as my Lord and Savior. For a few years, I struggled with assurance of my salvation, but God led me to Acts 16:31. According to this, all I needed to do was believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, meaning I needed to accept Him as Lord, which I had already done. I no longer have any doubt that I am saved.

KRISTAN'S TESTIMONY
When I was four years old, a salvation invitation was given in children’s church. Many of my friends were going forward to be saved and, not wanting to be left out, I went forward as well. I prayed a prayer without understanding what I was saying. Later in my childhood, God began to convict me that prayer without faith was not enough to get me to heaven. I tried to do many good works, but I knew that it was not enough. In 2008, a missionary came to our school and gave a similar testimony of trying to earn his way into heaven before he realized all that was needed was faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. That day I realized that what I was missing was that I needed to ask God to save me from my sins and stop relying on works.
